When you arrive during office hours, our team will be delighted to welcome you, confirm your reservation, and personally show you to your bungalow.

For arrivals outside office hours, we’ve set up an easy and hassle-free self-check-in so you can settle in comfortably at any time. Please advise us in advance and we will share your arrival and access instructions on the day of check-in

Our hosting team can assist you between 9 am - 5 pm each day for reception, assistance or just to share some quality time. 

Outside of these hours, our team remains available via phone. If needed, you may also contact our host directly through WhatsApp at +351 960288497, and she will personally attend to your request.

To grant you the opportunity to indulge in prime comfort WITH-IN nature, we made sure that you have a reviving comfortable sleep with carefully chosen prime linens. Linen and towels maintenance and washing are the responsibility of our housekeeping team. 

Each room also comes with a basket of towels especially designated for outdoor use. We kindly ask that you do not take the unit’s indoor linens or tools outside the bungalow
 

We insist that our guests try a fully organic and environmentally friendly day-to-day; for that, and to maintain our irrigation water 100% chemical-free, we use only prime-quality organic soaps, sanitary paper and cleaning liquids (for dish-washing and washing machines). We ask our guests to strictly use the hygiene and cleaning amenities we provide.

Monte Flora is an alcohol-free health and wellness retreat. Alcohol use is strictly prohibited on the property. 

Only the guests listed in the reservation are allowed to stay on the property. Guests may not bring additional, unauthorised guests without prior approval.

We offer wifi in all units for our long-term stayers, but we deeply recommend and encourage the choice to simply take the advantage of complete disconnection and full introspection.

Transport services are available upon prior arrangement.
We offer local transport from and to the local train station in Funcheira, Garvao, and the main bus stations in Odemira and Ourique.
We also offer pick-up and transport services from and to Lisbon International airport and Faro airport.

We maintain quiet times for peace and tranquillity; and minimum light and sound pollution in communal areas. For the comfort and enjoyment of both guests and neighbors, we request noise levels be kept to a minimum between 9 pm and 8 am.

We kindly request that you adhere to our dress code policy, which encourages respectful attire to foster a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere during your stay. 

Our units are smoke-free. Smoking is only allowed in the exterior private space of each individual unit (the private patios). 

Littering is not allowed in all Monte Flora land in any circumstance.

For the comfort of our guests and in consideration of Monte Flora’s permanent residents  (Ninos the cats and Flora the fox), we regret to inform you that we do not allow pets on the premises (except for service animals).

Our estate features a beautiful natural pond, with a designated area where guests may enjoy a refreshing dip. Please note that this is not a swimming pool, but a natural ecosystem where the waters are purified entirely through bio-organic methods.

As a living system, the pond is home to algae, aquatic plants, fish, frogs, and other creatures, all of which play an important role in maintaining its balance and purity.
We invite you to enjoy the pond respectfully, keeping in mind its natural and ecological character.

Our glamping tents are designed to offer a fully natural experience, featuring ecological and energy-saving cooling/heating methods instead of conventional air conditioning.
For the comfort of our guests, the tents are available only during spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October), when the climate is most suitable.

You can cancel or amend your reservation, free of charge, up to 30 days before the first day of your stay if you opt for one of our bungalows. If you cancel your reservation any later than that, full or partial fee of the total amount of your intended stay will be charged. In case of no show or early departure, the stay will be charged in full. For our detailed cancelation policy, please review our terms & conditions.

It is the policy of the hotel not to have extra beds due to the unique features of our units. However, our Blessings bungalows have an option to host one extra child between 5 and 12 (one individual sofa-bed per bungalow) and our Meadows tents have an option to host 2 extra children between 5 and 12 (one “tree-house” double bed per tent).

Waste Management: Guests must not leave trash inside the accommodation, next to or outside the door of the accommodation (when applicable), and must use the trash bins, near the carpark or next to the central dry toilettes, intended for this purpose. Public bins are evacuated every Friday.

Available for additional charge:

• Daily Cleaning Service – offered with or without linen change; rates vary accordingly.
• Diesel Filling Service – provided on-site by our hosting team between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, at the daily applicable rate.
• Organic Produce Basket – a generous selection from Monte Flora and neighboring farmers, €15 per person. Please request at least one day in advance, by 3:00 pm
